Wow. Much sincere thanks to everybody for your genuine excitement and questions about Blood, Sweat + Vinyl: DIY in the 21st Century. We knew that a lot of people dig this music and would love to see what we’ve compiled, but the response has been overwhelming. We’re thrilled with the thought of everybody being able to to see this, either through regional screenings or the eventual DVD release!
DVD production: Many people have asked about when this will be available on DVD. We’re a small team putting all of this together. Between eating and sleeping (and sometimes during), we’re working on the DVD box sets, and they will be available for pre-order within a few weeks. The box set will include the film, a second disc of over 2 hours of live footage, and select merch table items. We promise a jam-packed package of BSV goodness!
Future screenings: We want to screen this in as many places as possible and share this with you. We’ve received emails from all over Europe and North America – so we’re trying to figure out how to make this work, perhaps through a series of film tours. Please keep communicating with us, as we figure out a touring schedule for the film in the near future.
And a final reminder about our August 7th screening – we just landed in Seattle, to present the film on Sunday afternoon at the NW Film Forum. If you’re in the area, and want to see the film, make sure to buy advance tickets – it’s a small theatre, and there are only a handful of tickets left.
Again, we genuinely thank you all for your enthusiastic responses over something that has been a labor of love for over 5 years. We can’t wait for you to see it!
